11:50 AM Panel Discussion: Spoilt for Choice – How to Make Those Difficult Investment Decisions

There’s a lot of digital innovation out there but how do you decide what to buy, when to buy and how to implement it? To ensure you ask the right people the right questions at the right time, this panel will give you some food for thought:

  • Make sure you have clear understanding of the benefits and what you are trying to achieve before you investigate and pilot the technology
  • You need to have the right expertise to implement, maintain and follow through
  • Tell tale signs to know when it’s the right time
  • Choose and partner with different organisations to implement the technology as it develops
  • You need good evaluation methods in place to determine if it meets your needs at the right cost

2:50 PM PEOPLE: User Centred Development of New Technology in a Complex Hospital Environment

Alfred Health takes their stakeholders seriously in the design of eHealth solutions.  Each stakeholder has a different purpose, so it’s important to engage them throughout the design and implementation process to make sure the devices are fit for purpose. Hear from the resident eHealth Innovator about:

  • New digital projects
  • Different stakeholder needs and objectives and how this influences the solutions design
  • What barriers make it difficult to engage in co-design

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Frank.
